You are the head of this territory, and its future is in your hands.
Will you aim to be a merciful lord who builds walls and protects the village?
Will you develop agriculture with fields and water wheels?
Will you become a pious lord who builds a church?
Or will you feast in a luxurious palace… or will you lead soldiers in the barracks and go to war?
Develop your territory as you wish and become the richest lord in the kingdom.
In “Middle Ages”, players become one of the lords of a certain kingdom and aim to make their territory prosperous and the most wealthy.
During your turn, you place your lord piece on one of the tiles in the next row, take the tile that the piece was on, and place it on your territory.
Each of the eight types of tiles has a different ability, and collecting tiles of the same type makes it easier to earn coins, but points will be deducted for each type of tile that is not placed at the end of the game.
In addition, the tiles that will appear are always revealed for the next three rounds.
The player who placed their lord piece on the tile closer to the front in the previous round starts the turn, but since some tiles are more likely to appear at the front than others, it’s not always best to go first.
It’s important to think not only about the tiles you want, but also about the tiles the other players want, and choose the tile to place your piece on while taking into account how they will move.
A round ends when each player has taken a turn, and the game ends when a total of 12 rounds have been played.
The player with the most coins at that point is the winner.
